About this listen

Hired to trace Anna Ball, who has vanished, Miss Maud Silver encounters an eccentric art colony, bank robberies, and counterfeiting. As with other Miss Silver mysteries, the story relies on character development. Nadia May reads clearly and distinguishes individuals well; her British voice is ideal for this genteel period thriller (1951). Agatha Christie fans will enjoy this one.

A treat for the Wentworth fan. 'Anna Where Are You' combines all the elements of a good detective story under the auspices of the well-loved Miss Silver.
A commune set deep in the heart of the English countryside in the depths of winter, an apparently haunted house, a missing girl and a series of bank robberies must somehow be connected - but how?
Enjoy this tranquil narration of derring-do by the well-meaning heroine.
