So I'm a little confused now! Is pit part hawk or part Raven? It would certainly explain his lack of high pitch in his shriek which I've been banging on about and all my previous reviews when I was under the impression that he was part hawk. Maybe when I read the series again sometime in the future I will definitely be looking out for that little detail in the first book. but for now I suppose I better stop harping on about it in my reviews and hoping that when time travel is invented Travis can go back in time and do what needs to be done, which is to clarify pit is a hawk so that Travis can give pit high-pitched squeak he deserves. anyhow… Action is supremely satisfying, the world is interesting and expanding which is to be expected due to the storyline. Would love to see a little more downtime with his teammates at the stronghold with some expansion on the defences available to his territory. I won the credit for this book which being the seventh book in the series was probably a very canny marketing decision since I've paid for the previous six books which I'm pleased to say I did do it, since I've enjoyed the series throughout. Will be continuing to read/listen to this series.

Awesome narration, fleshed out characters and basically non stop action. Loved every minute of it and the only things I regret are binging it and the inability to experience it anew.

This book is amazing and has a great story.However the MC seems to always get a victory out of a battle that should have been realistically impossible but still a great book

damn these books are long but I can't stop, the constant struggle is so great but I'm caring less of the POV changes cause there's zero character development. the endings always bring me back tho so the author is doing something right

just a really well written story it keeps you interested even the explanation bits are pretty interesting rather than tedious

Love this series, unlike others in the genre it doesn’t lose its core as it progresses and nicely expands the other characters. No one is 2D and love the relationships / progression. So excited for the rest of the series.
