Hazel and Fox are an ordinary married couple with a baby. Except for one small thing: they're ex-serial killers.

They had it all. An enviable London lifestyle, five-star travels, and plenty of bad men to kill. Not many power couples know how to get away with murder.

Then Hazel fell pregnant and they gave it all up for life in the suburbs; dinner parties instead of body disposal.

But recently Hazel has started to feel that itch again. When she kills someone behind Fox's back and brings the police to their door, she must do anything she can to protect her family.

This could save their marriage - unless it kills them first.

Great to listen too, would definitely have been a page turner if I had had the actual book! Loved it

The characters were believable the whole thing very well written. No forced fillers or descriptions not needed. Loved it

So much fun!

I love me a good murder story! And well-well, this is a multi-murder story combined with a married couple's drama of how to keep the spark alive after becoming parents. Funny and exciting, fast-paced and taking unexpected turns, even for one who reads murder mysteries all the time and thought they had it figured out from the first chapters! Excellent narration, too!

Couldn’t stop listening!

Very clever book which covered so many topics whilst being very funny. Throughly enjoyed it and am now going off to see what other books this author has written.

Brilliantly funny and dark

I thoroughly enjoyed this darkly humorous love story. The pace of the narrative matches the thrill of the chase and kill as our very human couple tango around the challenges of balancing marriage with a rather demanding hobby.
I usually consume Audible books in journey-sized chunks, over weeks, but this one kept me gripped from start to finish, accompanying me throughout my day.

Well narrated. Great characters.

Loved this - such good characterisation and the audio performance of both really added to the already fab story.

Just brilliant!

Couldn’t stop listening - such wonderful characters and plot brought to life by totally amazing narrators. Loved every moment. Am sad it’s over and jealous of everyone who still gets to read/listen to this for the first time.

Not my usual type of book

The narrator’s carry you through this book with ease and enthusiasm to keep a fairly straightforward but entertaining plot whole to the very end. Indeed the thank you at the end in itself carries humour and passion.
To the storyline, this carries a plot we all wish we had the courage to express, the relationship and love shown between husband and wife under extraordinary circumstances really shines through, it’s just a book you don’t want to actually finish, this in part is down to the easy voices of the narrators but the cleverness of the author building the characters and relationships really shines through in the narrative.
If you are looking to step away from your usual whodunnit you could do far worse than to discover the clever plot buried within this simple story.

Excellent narration brought the characters alive

Over all this was a refreshingly different story that was paired so well with the choice of narrators
There was a part in the middle where I wanted to shout “get on with it” but that is more a reflection of my need to know what was coming/ going to happen than the story

Brilliant!

I absolutely loved listening to this book, the main characters really pulled me in, as a mother I could relate to many parts and it made it more believable and very funny. Great story line with some fantastic twists.
