Insanely sweet second chance at love!
Natalie and Brennan were high school sweethearts who opted to follow their separate paths. Years later they bump into each other at a grocery story on their way to two separate New Year's gatherings that just happens to be in the same residential building. It is an instant reconnect for them but is that enough now, years later, when their lives are so different?
There is such sweetness in this story. I just wished it was a bit longer but having said that L.P. Dover and Heidi McLaughlin somehow manage to provide plenty of detail and development in such a short span of time. Overall an enjoyable nugget of second chance romance!

Natalie is on away to a New Years Eve party. The first time she has night off as a nurse. It is snowing so Natalie walks. On the way her friends calls and says can you buy some beer. While she is in the store and Natalie walks down the beer aisle , she finds Brennan her high school sweetheart is their. Who now a hot famous singer in a band. He is only in town for three days, before he goes back to California. Problem is the chemistry is still there.

meh
I'm binging this series and the same editing and pacing issues are there with no hea, just happily for now.
Also this book sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom
