Loved it all. Did not dislike anything. I have said all I can say about the story

The best she is a brilliant story teller

I didn't enjoy this this as much as her others. The story line took a long time to get to the point. Too much wallowing in James's death. Not at all exciting

It was as if I was with her on her journey.

It is a bit of a feel good goodie good book. A bit shallow for me.

It’s just ok

I liked the story but not how it was narrated. I've always found Maisie to be a proper lady with a strong character but this narrator, in my opinion, put her across as an intelligent and boring goody two shoes - too prissy.

"A Dangerous Place" sees Maisie unravelling a complicated case in Gibraltar. It's a classic Maisie Dobbs mystery, intelligent and riveting, but I did miss the cast of characters usually supporting Maisie, especially Priscilla and Billy. Winspear's writing is, as always, flawless and shows a profound understanding of human nature. Very enjoyable.

Maisie far away from home.

Another excellent tale, with an excellent compelling narrator. This is not a frivolous war time romance with knickers in the wind like so many other writers pen. The writer has used all her tools to empower and embellish this enjoyable epithany.
