About this listen

She knew her hand in marriage would be sold. She had no idea a fae prince was the buyer.

Katria swore she'd never fall in love. She's seen what "love" means through the cruelty of her family. So when she's married off to the mysterious Lord Fenwood for a handsome price, all Katria wants is a better life than the one she's leaving. Feelings are off the table.

But her new husband makes not falling in love difficult.

As their attraction begins to grow, so too do the oddities within her new life: strange rules, screams in the night, and attacks by fae that Katria never thought were real. When she witnesses a ritual not meant for human eyes, Katria finds herself spirited away to the land of Midscape.

Surviving the fae wilds as a human is hard enough. Katria must survive as a human who accidently pilfered the magic of ancient kings—magic a bloodthirsty king is ready to kill her for in order to keep his stolen throne—and her new husband is the rightful heir in hiding.

The power to save the fae is in her hands. But who will save her from a love she vowed never to feel?

A Dance with the Fae Prince is a complete, stand-alone novel inspired by the tales of Psyche and Eros, as well as Cinderella, with a "happily ever after" ending. It's perfect for romantic fantasy fans. A Dance with the Fae Prince features a slow-burn romance, swoon-worthy couple, and steaminess that ranges from simmering to sizzling.

This book gets better the more it goes on. The narrator was very good and the twist although it's clear it's coming was fantastic. It starts quite slowly and three quarters of the way in becomes a little LOTR. There's a battle and a haunted place, ceremonies and an evil King. And of course love.
Thoroughly enjoyed it and was sad when it ended!

Soooo enjoyable

This is the 2nd book in Married to Magic "series" .. I say series but they're stand alone books that take place in the same magical world of Midscape .. In the first book we learned about the Elves, in this book we discover the land of the Fae & what a marvelous place that was 😍

I loved this book so much ❤️
I loved the main characters, their backstories, the way they handled their situation & everything they faced .. And I so much loved the romance 🌶️🫠
It was kinda easy to guess some of the things that was yet to be revealed but it was enjoyable all the same ..
I've gone through many emotions while reading this book & that's something I greatly appreciate 🌹

I'm really enjoying the worlds the author created (The Natural World, Midscape, The Beyond), all the magical boards & the magical elements specific to every species that lives in these lands ..
I loved the comprehensive description & all the small details that made each territory different from the other .. You'd think a magical world is a magical world but the each book has its distinctive elements in every way .. The Elves & Fae personalities, their traditions, their magic & the very nature of their world even they way their people lived their daily lives .. Each was unique & equally wonderful 🥰

I enjoyed the extra chapter so much 🤩
I was so excited for The Fae Queen & King to meet the Elf King & his Human Queen ..
I absolutely love this overlapping of the books/worlds .. It's like this big tapestry that seems to tell different stories but they're all connected by a seemingly invisible thread ..

As always Elizabeth Evans' narration is Truly Magical 🥰👌🏻

Saw the twist coming a mile away but still so satisfying when it happened. Fun execution, too. Sweet couple.

I am a sucker for “arranged marriage” books and this didn’t disappoint me. The first book in the series will always be my favourite but the couple in this was amazing too😊
