a good next step in the story of Fin and Brody.
I was gifted this book for an honest review.
This is a straight continuation from the first book and I spent a lot of it being so frustrated at Fin's actions but having never been through what she was going through who am I to judge. Just like her friends and family tried to support her as much as she would let them. the topic of infertility may be tough for some readers but it is handled so well in multiple storylines throughout the book. As with her other books the supporting characters gave light relief when needed as well as just being great by themselves.
Their story is not yet finished but there is no major cliffhanger at the end of this book as their was with book 1.
The narration was good and the characters were individual. Even the English accents were mostly done well by the American narrator.
Looking forward to hear what book 3 in the series brings.

Heartbreakingly beautiful.
Following Fin's life altering news in book 1 we follow her as she leaves Brody behind and flees to London to make a new life for herself. So many angsty moments when I wanted to slap her around the head and tell her to sort her life out. As much as I fell in love with Liam, my heart too belonged to Brody. I'm loving all the London Lovers characters, each bringing their own personality to the storyline. Brody turns up in London (at this point I thought all was right in the world), then wham! Fin finally opens up to him and he spits his dummy out and runs (okay flies) back to the States, leaving me yet again wanting to slap someone (this time namely Brody). A beautifully written love story that had me in tears in places. Even though I may not appear to be sympathetic to their feelings during this emotional rollercoaster, I really do feel for them both. So emotional, and so very beautiful, touching on some very real situations.
