مع هذا الكتاب يسبر الكاتب أغوار هيئات الصلاة مستنبطًا مدلولاتها ومعانيها فالقيام إنما هو النهوض، أن نقوم بدورنا وصولاً لأن تصبح الأمة بأكملها "أمة قائمة".. في القيام نضع اليمين على الشمال فما المعاني التي نفهمها من هذا؟ أما الركوع فهو خفض الرأس لكنه عمل يختص به الإنسان فقط يجعل عقله مسخرًا في خدمة المشروع الذي كلفه به الله.. ثم نتوقف مع سجود الصلاة إنه سجود الإرادة.. ولكن ما العلاقة بين أول سجود أمر به الله تعالى الملائكة عندما خلق آدم وبين سجودنا في الصلاة؟ وكيف تكون القمة في الأرض؟ وكيف يجعلنا السجود أقرب إلى حقيقتنا.. أقرب إلى رحم الأرض وكأننا سنخلق من جديد كما لو أن السجود سيعيد تشكيلنا من جديد..ـ
