The author gives a convincing performance as herself in this reading; its got some intense sections as a listen and is full of great moments. Funny in places too. I do wish someone had got Isabel a dialect coach and taught her how to pull of an American accent and in places the reading could have been more intimate but overall a 'listen' with a difference and would certainly liven up a long drive. :-) Hope you enjoy it - x isabel

Wasn't what I expected and most of the facts weren't of my experience. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones Isabel talks about, well, the smug ones. And I'm through the menopause what are people doing?!

However, I enjoyed learning some stuff with Isobel and cringed with her at the awkward moments. The first book in a long time that I have read (listened to) so quickly. A very interesting read and once we got over the clit amazements I found it even more interesting. :)

And I love when the authors read their own books, it just makes it for me.
