Summary
A Gay Paranormal Harem Romance
Sawyer Smith is woefully unprepared for the dangers that come with being part of the supernatural world. As a magical null, he is human and vulnerable, even with the powerful, sexy guardians who have claimed him as their own. When a simple visit turns deadly, Sawyer’s mates take action and whisk him away to the clan of rich and powerful griffins.
As a griffin, Eduard Eastaughffe is considered supernatural royalty, but even with all his wealth and power, his duty as a guardian must come before all else. If he can convince his clan to support his newfound mates and not judge the fact they include a dragon, a vampire, a mage, and - Goddess forbid--a human, the rest of the clans may fall in line without much of a fight.
Danger lurks in close quarters and a new guardian is revealed. If Sawyer hopes to discover the ancient enemy hunting the Chosen One, he must survive the newest tests facing him. Because at the end of the day, when you’re a human among magical creatures, it’s nothing ventured...nothing gained.

The romp goes on!
I am fascinated by the newest guardians, how will Sawyer make this work? I also like how even goddesses have limits in this series.
There was more hot sex, I heartily approve, although I snorted at the "Will die unless penetrated"-plot twist.
Next book, wohoo!

With the griffins
I loved this audiobook, and it held my attention better then the first one. There is less sex and more story, and the overarching story moved along faster. After the attack in the last book, Sawyer and his Guardians decide their home is not safe enough, and they decide to take shelter at Eduard's home. I loved learning about the Griffins and Eduard's family. But Sawyer is not as safe as they had hoped. The story has danger, drama, betrayal, love, and devotion. Henry's vision from book 1 comes true, and another guardian is found. In case you can't tell from my references to book 1, you really need to read/listen to that one before this one. This book doesn't end on a cliffhanger, per se. but it does conclude with a humorous and intriguing teaser for the next book.
The narration is perfect, as always. Michael Dean does an excellent job with the characters' emotions. I did listen to the audiobook at 1.3x speed.
I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

The story continues
The story of Sawyer and his Guardians continues. I highly recommend reading the series in order, as it builds on each other.
Macy Blake's writing style is wonderful and I became immersed in the fantasy world very quickly. The world building was great and I am always amazed at the characters that are added. And at the same time, the story is very exciting. Because there is a threat lurking out there for Sawyer. To escape it, the Guardians decide to go with their Chosen One to Eduard's father and the Griffen clan. But even here the chosen one is not safe and fate strikes unexpectedly.
An exciting story, hot scenes, action, interesting characters and an ever-present threat make this book a page-turner that had me hooked from the start. Wow.
The narrator Michael Dean is perfect casting and makes a terrific book even better with his narration. He has a great and pleasant voice that is great to listen to and he puts himself into the characters with all his emotions. There are more protagonists, but I never had problems keeping them apart.

The journey continues between The Chosen One and his guardians, as more danger arises Saywer is whisked away by his men to the Griffin's clan in hopes of keeping him safe. The problem then comes when Eduard who is considered supernatural royalty is forced to convince his clan to accept his mates even though they include a dragon, a vampire, a mage and god forbid a human. Another guardian is revealed.
It was so nice to see these characters again. To see what they're up to next and how they're all getting on. It was great to get a bit more backstory on Eduard and see where he came from. We get a lot more plot in this book, lots of deep conversations, emotions and excitement are shown within this book. You can see the bonds strengthening and forming and the plot thickening.
The plot was well written, easy to follow and flowed well. The author's writing style really showed in this book and i really enjoyed it. I can't wait to read on in this series and find out whats going to happen next.

Well alright
I definitely enjoyed this one better than the first one. There was more of a story mixed in with all the sex. Action and the introduction of another mate/guardian. On to the next.

More great world building, characters and Michael Dean's performance
This series is certainly giving Michael Dean and workout as we continue to add new main characters in addition to all the new side characters, family members, etc. He continues to knock it out of the park and keep each characters distinct and the narrative parts of the story compelling, clear and easy to follow. Here, we meet a new guardian, get a detailed glimpse of Eduard's griffin homeland, meet new characters who may or may not be friends and encounter new plots and machinations. Sawyer is still trying to adjust to his new status as well as being a human in a world of numerous paranormal beings. His relationship with his guardians continues to be interesting and constant evolving. Looking forward to the rest of this series.

Griffins, Mages, Dragons, and Vampires – Oh My!
I knew Sawyer had more mates to find. I wasn’t sure about him leaving their compound to head to New England so he could visit his griffin Eduard’s family. The griffin compound seemed safe, and Sawyer needed to be accepted as the chosen one, but dark forces are at play.
I don’t want to give spoilers, but the arrival of the next mate was unexpected and sweet. And, frankly, I’d never heard of such a man/creature.
As this series progresses, I’m being drawn farther and farther into this magical realm. I’m looking forward to more.
Again, loving the audio narration of Michael Dean.
