I love the passion in a KA Merikan book. No matter the characters background they are always filled with passion for their other half. They just fit together.

I loved Raja and David and enjoyed seeing David discover himself and come out of his shell. don't they say churchies are kinky in the sheets and boy oh boy does David and Raja set the sheets on fire!

I also enjoy the depth beyond the passion. and while there is a lot of passion there is also a lot of heart. I love this series and love that you can read about ALL the characters! I'm so interested to read Hunter and Asty's story (mf).

This is a great addition to the series. I enjoyed having a over experienced biker, Raja, overruled by the innocent David. The characters personality is different than what I expected. Raja acts totally captivated by David. David is just learning what it is to be gay and getting involved with Raja is quite the education. The secondary characters add so much. David’s family and how they handle this relationship. The Coffin Nail member reaction to the bet made by Raja. I also feel that Wyatt Baker narration was perfect for these characters and story. I was given a copy from GRR and this is my opinion.

David and Raja seemed like an unlikely pairing at the start, but as I listened to their delightfully steamy romance unfold, their hidden compatibility shone through. Wyatt Baker's narration has been amazing for this whole series, and I can't say enough good things about how he brought these men to life. The contrast between Raja's sexy biker voice and David's innocence gave me shivers, and it was thrilling to see David get lured away from his sheltered lifestyle and embrace his sexuality. Compared to the rest of this series this story was lighter on the danger and violence, but that only put an even bigger spotlight on the intoxicating romance. Even though David was eager to submit to Raja, I loved that he wasn't a total pushover in the rest of their interactions. It was David's unwavering desire to be more than just a hookup with Raja that led to their deepening emotional connection, which transformed this story from a bit of fun to a romance I couldn't put down. With plenty of mayhem going on in the background, from MC drama to disapproving families, there wasn't a single dull moment in this story.

Was apprehensive but enjoyed it.

David a sweet innocent Catholic 18 Yr. old boy. Trying to find his place in the world.

Raja. Biker. Indian, Manwhore. Never refuses a bet.

These two have nothing in common apart from David's brother is in the same MC club. And a bet.
But stranger things happen when David didn't get into any colleges but doesn't want to tell his parents. He decides his best bet is to go to the city, live with his brother and get a job.

Working in a flower shop is like his dream job, but what else happens feels like he's living someone else's dream.

For some reason I didn't think I would like this book much, but how wrong was I. I liked the complex drama that surrounded the characters, and the characters themselves.

Well worth the read. I listened to this on audio and liked Wyatt Bakers narration, although I did speed it up to 1.25.

Wow. They did it again. This book was everything I’ve come to love and expect from K.A. Merikan. Their brains are extremely fascinating and their books are so addictive. You can’t help but love these books and question your sanity at the same time.

Raja and David couldn’t be any more different than they tried. Yet, they were both the missing piece in each other’s complicated puzzle. I loved David’s spirit, and how Raja was sweet deep down—deep, deep down. Their courtship was definitely unique, but I couldn’t have wanted it to be any different.

The writing was top notch, and the characters were a freakin’ hoot! I really like this series, even though I’ve been listening to it in a weird order. I still need to listen to the first two. Even though it’s obvious the side characters have their own books, this story stands proudly on its own. It almost dares you to listen to it that way. Too bad the side characters are just as awesome, so you know you’re gonna need to listen to them as well.

Wyatt Baker is a freaking genius with the narrations of this book. He not only captures each character perfectly, his timing for emotions and humor is spot on. He’s quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators.

KA Merikan and Wyatt Baker make a great pair. Like that the character feel like real people, flaws and all, maybe a little bit darker than normal but the story has bikers in it. David and Raja were an interesting combination but it worked beautifully, a pleasure to have joined them for their journey. Have not listen to any of the Sex & Mayhem series that did not exceed expectations.

This story was hot. Lots of steamy sex and the contrast of the sweet innocent and his more experienced lover was a fun fantasy. At times I was sure David was going to get his heart badly broken, but it was nice to see his brother and sister-in-law step up to support him when his parents were jerks. There was a lot going on, but everything wrapped up nicely. It did annoy me that the one character kept calling the baby an 'it' but he got called out on that behavior. Overall a fun read.

Heart Ripper is the ninth book in the Sex & Mayhem series. This book can be read as a standalone quite easily, but I think its enjoyed best when you read this previous books in the series: The Devils Ride, No Matter What, Split, and His Favorite Color Is Blood. The Devil’s Ride and Split feature the background story of important secondary characters that play key roles in Heart Ripper, but, like I previously said, Heart Ripper works well by itself.

I truly enjoyed this book – the characters, tropes, sex, and plot were all right up my ally. There are many romance tropes that I find highly enjoyable, and the experienced, older man who has huge Dom/Toppy vibes with an innocent, younger twink is definitely one of them. Raja is a new president of one of the Coffin Nails MC offshoot clubs and the best friend of Hunter, an important member of the original Coffin Nails MC club. Raja is known as both a devoted club member and a playboy who enjoys one night stands. David is not only a naïve young man spreading his wings for the first time, but also Hunter’s younger and beloved brother. The relationship between Raja and David starts off as a forbidden secret, but the magnetic attraction the both of them feel towards each other can’t be contained. Watching this romance unfold and grow was incredibly sweet but also incredibly hot. I fell head over heels in love with both characters and enjoyed every moment of their romance.

The audiobook was narrated by Wyatt Baker who did a wonderful job. I love Wyatt’s vocal skills. He has a smooth voice that’s perfect for narrations, and he can voice the different characters with the perfect amount of emotion and energy. His performance was dynamic but never over the top. I found the entire narration to be extremely enjoyable which was only enhanced by a great audiobook production.

Raja was attending a party to celebrate fellow Coffin Nails MC club member Hunter's baby, Hunter had been a fellow Taledo chapter member but had transferred to another. Raja was bragging about how easy it was to pull any man he wanted when a bet was made regarding the preppy young man across the other side of the garden. It was only later...After he'd won the bet that he learned who he was, when Hunter introduced him to his younger brother David!
MM, Outlaw MC club, Organised crime, religion, homophobia, good boy meets bad boy, coming out, HEA. Wyatt Baker narrated brilliantly.

K.A. Merikan are firm favourites of mine and I have loved everything that they have published so far including Heart Ripper.
Despite Raj and David’s story not being as dark as many of their other book, this was emotional, funny, steamy with just the right amount of angst you would expect between a good Catholic boy and the openly gay president of a MC.
