Running for his life

Logan needs as much money as he can get. Recently fired and thrown out of his home by his abusive girlfriend, he has no job and no place to go. Declan’s message comes at exactly the right time, and Logan decides things can’t get any worse, so he leaves his small hometown for New Gothenburg. Once he meets Declan and Jake, it’s hard to deny how beautiful they are together, and while Logan has always known he’s bisexual, he’s kept it buried deep inside. He longs to find what they have with each other - happiness and love.

Painful secrets come to light

When Declan and Jake realize they want the same thing - to invite Logan into their life - a new experience begins. Between Logan’s insecurities and his ex-girlfriend trying to have him arrested for a crime he didn’t commit, all three men must work together to make their relationship fall into place.

Some of this story is painful to hear. Logan has been living with his girlfriend. When things go bad it really goes bad. Logan desperate for money accepts Declan’s offer as an anniversary present for Jake. There is so much emotion throughout this story its hard to write about without using spoilers. Jakes family do nothing to help. Jake’s ex is one who is better at acting than being. This story just made me want it not to end. I wanted to see where these guys go from here. The narration by David Piper really brought the story to life and gave these characters more depth than my reading it could have. I look forward to the next story from these author’s

Hockey star Declan is happily married to Jake and gives him a special and unusual gift for their anniversary. He invites Jake's favorite voice into their bedroom.
Logan's life is going down the drain right now. He has lost his job and his girlfriend kicks him out of the apartment they share after totally humiliating him. He accepts Delan's offer because he needs every cent he can get. What none of the three expected was the development that one night brought.

I totally loved the chemistry between Declan and Jake, the two of them exuding pure happiness. It's no wonder Logan wants something like that after his disastrous last relationship with Miranda. Logan is very insecure and vulnerable, which makes him totally likable. You have to like Declan and Jake, they both have huge hearts.
The writing style was great, the topic with the abusive relationship was interesting. It's pretty gross what some people are capable of.
It was fun to watch the development of Declan, Jake and Logan. Also, the secondary protagonists such as the gruff coach and sassy Red gave me delightful moments to smile about.

I loved the book, it was written with feeling and there were suspenseful but also heartbreaking parts. The story captivated me and I think I fell a little in love with the three of them. But there were also really sweet moments and sometimes I would have liked to hug Logan, at other points I would have liked to cry with him.

I didn't know the narrator David Piper yet, but he narrated really well and gave each of the three protagonists a voice with recognition value. Logan's deep, velvety voice in particular was a real highlight. David brought the characters to life and did a good job of getting to the heart of each protagonist's emotional state. It was a pleasure to listen to him!

This book is absolutely amazing and David's performance added a whole new dimension! I am enamored with Declan and Jake's relationship and adding Logan to the mix made it even better. I love the way they bring Logan out of his shell and are so protective - one of my fav traits. Sexy, sweet and so very beautiful, this was excellently done and I am a new fan of David Piper's!!

Oh I loved this story. Technically part of a series but I’ve read it as a standalone and and loved it.

The sex was hot but it was the plot of Logan’s circumstances and Declan and Jake’s evolving and Lo ring relationship that had me hooked.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves some steamy scenes but also like a good plot!

Delightfully dirty, and soooo kinky. But of course, it's Ki Brightly and M.D.Gregory, and I’d be disappointed with anything less!

At its heart, Dirty Secret is Logan’s story. A wonderfully complex character, Logan is a longtime victim of psychological and physical abuse. His reactions to his ex-girlfriend's cruelty in the first chapter shows us Logan’s inability to advocate for himself, and when we meet his family, there’s no doubt Logan has spent his life surrounded by people who belittle him and dismiss his worth.

Practically broke, homeless, and suddenly single, Logan is at a point in his life where everything must feel completely hopeless. The opportunity to make a little extra money with his voice acting, by adding his seductive narration to Jake and Declan’s love making. comes at just the right time. Plus it’s a total turn-on for all three men! When the opportunity to join the couple for some hot, no-strings physical romance is presented, Logan accepts. Feeling wanted, and finally in a safe place, I don’t blame Logan for jumping in with both feet!

I’m impressed with the skilful way Ki Brightly and M.D. Gregory reveal Logan’s backstory. This poor man is starved for positive attention, affection, and love, and his interactions with Jake and Declan are quite powerful. I enjoyed Logan’s revelations about gay lovemaking throughout the story, and his awakening as he narrates during their nights of passionate, erotic physical romance, are insightful and emotional, and wonderfully erotic.

The audio version of Dirty Secret is performed by David Piper, who’s a new narrator for me. I absolutely adored his voice for Logan, and when he’s doing the seductive voice of ‘your boyfriend’..., well, it's simply gorgeous! Mr. Piper also does an outstanding job with the wide range of supporting characters, and I was especially impressed with the varied cast of female voices he created for this story.

I really enjoyed listening to this book, the story and the characters were unique and the narrator did a great job with the voices. Especially with the ASMR! WOW.

The starting scene and the whole idea was interesting, one established couple and one anniversary surprise (having an ASMR guy talking to you while you're having sex). It was hot and I enjoyed the story. Loved the added hurt/comfort too, it was so sweet.

It's not an everyday story where you can see that not only women can be in toxic and abusing relationship, but men too. Women can be cruel and dirty too, and it was well portrayed.

Great book and great audio too.

Now I loved these three men. Two bold protectors but in different ways and a gentle and kind sweetheart in trouble, makes for some a great read! with all the perfect passion, lust and fun you could want...but I feel I have to say Ki and Meg have also created a villain so wicked, evil and manipulative you can't wait but to hate her with a vengeance. pure evil! I'm still seething at her audacity but thankfully she is found out and got what's coming to her. unfortunately not in the King's way (like Jake wanted) but at least the truth came out and all is forgiven. although with how sweet and innocent Logan is there should have been more grovelling before forgiveness but I get it, he's to sweet.
These three are so hot together and I loved how they're each their own person, boldness, lust and self assurance and all!

Part-time voice actor Logan meets hockey star Declan and his tattoo artist husband Jake when Declan contacts him about providing a “live” performance for their anniversary. I enjoyed this story of a triad (or throuple) in the making, and the erotic aspect does not disappoint. Bisexual Logan comes to the established couple fresh from an abusive relationship with a dodgy ex-girlfriend, and responds to the couple’s desire to take care of him, not being used to anyone putting his needs first. There is little to no conflict within the triad relationship itself, and all of the challenges here are external. The heat level is super high, and the MCs all extremely likeable. The narrator provides three different and very distinct voices for the main characters.
