Summary
This is the fourth and final book in the Domestic Discipline Quartet.
Alex has made a lot of mistakes, but he is determined to reconcile with his estranged wife, Grace. He's willing to put their past problems where he thinks they belong - in the past - but insults and disrespect will be met with discipline. He's seen the marriages his friends have, and decided to take a page from their books. Unfortunately for him, Grace is not so willing to let go of past hurts, although she has no choice but to go with him when he basically kidnaps her and takes her to Bath. At least her friends are there for moral support, while she does her best to discover exactly why her husband is so intent on reconciliation rather than divorce.
Hugh and Irene are blissfully happy, having declared their love for each other, but they seem to be the only ones. Eleanor is pregnant and worried that her condition will mean the end of overt affection and desire from her husband - especially as he hasn't declared any kind of finer feelings for her. She thinks Edwin doesn't realize she's with child, and worries over how to prod a declaration from him. Meanwhile, everyone is gathered in Bath for Wesley's wedding to the brazen and rebellious Cynthia.
When these four women get together, it's no wonder that both trouble and bright red bottoms loom on the horizon. Each of their husbands is bound and determined to claim and tame his willful wife. This audiobook contains adult situations, including spankings, whippings, backdoor play, and explicit scenes.

🎧 Reviewed for Audiobook Obsession 🎧
This the 4th and final story, tied up loose ends in the lives of these four couples. A wedding, new life, and a revitalized and now happy marriage.
I have enjoyed following along this journey with dominant husbands, there errant wives, there form of punishment to keep the errant wives in line, the bedroom antics and S. Kittens narration of the story.

Ended Nicely
Alex is tired of living apart from his wife. He's tired of both of them taking different lovers. All he wants is her. He doesn't understand what made her run away from their marriage in the first place. Grace is heartbroken when she discovers her husband and father talking. He tells her father that one woman is as good as another. Unable to trust that he'd married her for love, she flees as soon as the honeymoon is over. I enjoyed this book and the three books in the series far more than I really thought I would. I was told that this was a stand alone series and that I could read them in any order I wished. I do not entirely agree with this assessment. While reading them in order isn't really a necessity, it would be for the best. There are references that just make better sense reading them in order. I really loved how she found a way to keep all couples involved in each and every book. I really felt for Grace. It seemed she didn't really grow up with a loving and warm father. It doesn't really speculate on her relationship with her mother and her sisters. Either way, I fully understood her reaction to overhearing what Alex said to her father. She thought he was just like her father. I really adored how all the characters got a bit of a happy ending. It was like the author tied up the series with a nice little bow. This Is officially the fourth book I've listened to involving S. Kitten. I've enjoyed her in every single one of them. She has this very proper voice that's very lovely to hear. I'd gladly listen to any other book she narrates. Especially if it's an audiobook in this time period. If I didn't know any better, I'd say she time travelled to our time from that time! I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the series very much. I personally would recommend that the series be read from beginning to end. However, it doesn't exactly have to be read in order. Each book has it's own story pretty much. It does slightly tie in the characters from previous books, though. It's not a genre I'd of normally read, but I'm glad I did.

A tangled web of wives
There are 4 main couples in this book. Each bringing a different form of marriage to the table. Cynthia is rebellious and about to be married. Irene is happily married. Elenor is pregnant and worried that her husband will not show her as much affection now. And then there is Grace. She wants a divorce and her husband wants to reconcile. It was a fun read to hear the advice to each other of these four women. But when they get together, trouble begins and bottoms are reddened. This story is filled with spankings and steam, in traditional Golden Angel style.
S. Kitten narrated this intricate story well. She was able to keep all the different characters separate and distinct. There were so many characters which S. Kitten was able to keep the story flowing and easy to follow. I enjoyed this narration and hope to hear more from S. Kitten.

Great Story & Series! Great Audible Listen🎧
I loved this series and all of it’s featured characters. This is Alex and Grace’s story but it includes the characters from the earlier books and a continuation of their storylines which are intertwined in one way or another. In this book they will all be together meeting for Wesley and Cynthia’s wedding. Alex is trying to woo his wife back and takes her with him to join the other couples. May be more than one wife getting claimed in this book. The lead males in the series, Edwin, Hugh, Wesley and Alex, are nobleman in their time and friends. They are the discipliners of their woman, Eleanor, Irene, Cynthia and Grace, who are society ladies and their wives. Each couple has their own unique story, as well as issues. They flip from one to the other, mostly in chronological order picking up from where their story left off or putting them in the current situation. Golden Angel does a wonderful job with the storylines, they are interesting and there is always something going on. I love how all the males compare notes with each other sharing their discipline methods and offering tips. Also love how the ladies share their curiosities and thoughts with each other. I got a kick out of the dialogue used from back in the day. I was glad to see all the couples problems and insecurities getting worked out. I highly recommend these stories.
I listened to the Audiobook, S. Kitten is a delight to listen to, her voice is melodic and her performance is entertaining. She is a fabulous storyteller, brings the characters to life from the pages to your ears. Thanks for another great & pleasurable listen🎧

Good read
I have mixed feelings about this book. I was glad to finally have a happily ever after for the four couples in this serial but I haven’t read any of the other books so I need to do that. There are parts of it that made me sad. The societal norms during the period--the arrogance of the men, the double standard in acceptable behavior, the lack of open communication-I'm thinking period pieces may not be my genre.

Amazing ending to a wonderful book
I fell in love this this series. Golden Angel did an amazing job bring the Victorian era alive. I felt like I was transported back in time. I would loved to been a fly on the wall during all of the discipline sessions. I related to all of spunky characters. As always S. Kitten did an amazing job of bringing all of the ladies and gentlemen alive.
