Summary
In the second novel in the number-one best-selling Amazon romance Running in Fear series, Jaycee Manz has finally found her mates. Now among others of her kind, you would think she would be happy. But like everything else, achieving a dream often comes with a price. How can a person feel totally abandoned when surrounded 24 hours a day by her mates? Can she trust them not to rip out her heart?
Remi, Dane, and Mark love their mate Jaycee. Now all they have to do is figure out how to get her to bond with them.
Remi knows he's going to have to force the issue, but he's determined to have Jaycee at his side no matter what the cost.
The pack has always been first in Dane's mind, but how does he trust his mate to her duties if she can't even control her emotions? He knows Jaycee needs help and guidance, but what else is she hiding? Will he have the patience needed to deal with her? Or will he just say the hell with it and tie her to his bed forever?
Being Remi's bonding partner is not an easy job, but then neither is being Jaycee's mate. Not only does Mark need to control her, but he also wants to love her. Can she settle down and accept the three of them? If his bonding partner has anything to do with it, she will have no choice, but Mark sees problems coming and knows someone is going to be hurt....

Managing Three Alphas
Abandoned, the second book in the Running in Fear series picks up where Escape left off. In this book, we learn more about Jaycee's past. She comes more into her own as she deals with past abuse and emotional scars. As for her mates, Jaycee tried to manage a relationship with three Alpha males set in their ways. In the process, the males make mistakes, leaving Jaycee feeling betrayed and hurt. I felt for Jaycee as she experiences betrayal and the resulting emotional pain.
Escape was written better than the first book in the series. The story felt rushed, due to it being fast-paced. Once again, Michelle Jones did a great job narrating.

Fabulous story!!
The story just keeps getting more interesting as it goes along. In this book I still found myself yelling at the characters for the things that the say to each other. There are a lot of mistakes and misunderstandings between the characters. The guys are assholes and Jaycee needs to explain her feelings to help them understand how there are making her feel. This is a great must listen to. I definitely recommend this book.
The narrator does a fabulous job with the characters and voices of each character. She has a fantastic way of sucking you into the telling of the story. I have to say it a definite must listen. I definitely recommend this book!!

i enjoyed the story and the narration especially. the only issue i had was how her mates treat her. however that situation was starting to be rectified in the end. recommended by me.

Another intense, entertaining read
I really enjoyed the second instalment of the Running in Fear series, it was every bit as intense as the first book, plenty of drama, witch craft and hilarity. Trouble seems to follow Jaycee, and life with three alpha mates isn't easy, so when they push her too far she runs to her Mama Marsha, who needs to pass on her lessons in witch craft for protection. This book was an emotional roller-coaster that had me laughing and crying, and wanting to smack those men, but I keep coming back for more, I can't wait to start book 3. Michelle Jones narrated beautifully again.
