In this episode, we will begin examining the life and crimes of Juana Barraza, Lucha Libre villain turned actual villain, who terrorized the grannies of Mexico City in the early 2000s.

[Key points]:

• Juana Barraza was born on December 27, 1957 and had it tragic from the start. She eventually found an outlet for her well developed rage as professional wrestler under the stage name “The Silent Lady"
• In the early 2000s, a series of murders began to plague Mexico City, earning the killer the title of “The Old Lady Killer.” The victims were all elderly women who lived alone, and the killer would often rob their homes before leaving their bodies behind.
• It wasn't until 2006, when she was caught red handed, that the truth came to light.
• Barraza was found guilty and sentenced to 759 years in prison.
• Barraza has a Capricorn Sun, Pisces Moon, and Capricorn Rising.
• The 12th house is associated with hidden enemies, self-undoing, and imprisonment. This may have played a role in Barraza's criminal behavior and eventual incarceration.
