  • Mother and Son Conversations Podcast has been in my brain for a long time! As my son started hitting puberty, I knew this would be a momentous time for change. Hormonal moodiness, growing pains, and need for space can break down communication. As an EQ Parenting Coach, I wanted to share this new journey with my audience and, most importantly, give my son a voice in a world that is quick to silence him and other tweens! The “seen and not heard” motto is deeply embedded in hegemony but we want to give kids the voice they deserve to protect themselves and others!     Mother and Son Conversations is an evolving project that we started to see if the world would be interested in! Kids' voices are often silenced, and from my experience as a CBT and Emotional Intelligence Coach, many of us suffer from childhood trauma. Many of us were abused and silenced. We want to end that by dispelling the harmful "seen and not heard" philosophy that made us feel invalidated. So listen in as you see my son and I connected bi-weekly or monthly! Still not sure, as I respect his flow and freedom!
